PRACTICE PRIOR TO EVENT:

Access to the track may be available prior to official times listed below.

The club will issue a timetable when available.

RIDER REGISTRATION/TRANSPONDER CHECK/PLATE COLLECTION:

This is a Transponder required event. Transponders must be activated & registered with MYLAPS prior to this event. Transponders MUST be attached to the outside of the fork & must be on for all official BMXNZ event sessions including practice. 

ALL transponders must be checked and entry detail must be confirmed on the BMXNZ test loop mat at the admin building, prior to starting practice, or racing.

Sprocket Class Event Number plates will be issued to riders at check-in & will be registered.  Event Number Plates must be used within this event only including all official practice sessions. SPROCKETS DO NOT REQUIRE A TRANSPONDER 

Challenge & Championship Class Event Number plates will only be issued to riders at transponder check-in upon confirmation that their transponder is attached to their bike correctly and is functional.  The event number plate must remain affixed to the bike for the entire event, including all official practice sessions.

Registration for your transponder check and plates, opens from 2.45pm – 6.25pm Friday and then again 6.50am-9.40am Saturday. Registration is required PRIOR to the rider's practice sessions. 

Transponders - with failures during racing, we go to camera as backup and if not definitive, a DNF is scored.

FRIDAY PRACTICE:

Required safety gear to be worn along with event transponder, number plates fitted at all official practice sessions. Scrutineering will be undertaken on a random basis.

3.30pm - 3.50pm 20" 7 & under

3.50pm - 5.10pm 20" + CR 24" 8-12yr

5.10pm - 6.40pm 20" + CR 24" 13yr plus

6.40pm - 7.15pm Championship Men (Pro straight)

TEAM MANAGERS MEETING:           

                  Friday                                          5.00pm after challenge class practice finishes

SATURDAY - EVENT DAY ONE

RIDER REGISTRATION - TRANSPONDER DETAIL CHECK AND RACE PLATE COLLECTION:

For ALL riders who did not complete this process on Friday. ​​​​​​​All transponders MUST be checked onsite prior to racing, this check is your event registration process. This will be done at the check point near the Admin hut. The process is a simple roll over of a mat loop & then checking your detail on a screen.  Any detail errors must be noted with event admin immediately. This process must be completed prior or during the Saturday morning practice.
